Equipment

The farm has been completely renewed in 2011 and produces its own energy by using a photovoltaic system.  In order to heat the Mitterhof we exclusively exploit solar energy and woods. The building disposes of 4 single apartments (60-66 squared meters) which offers: a comfortable living room with a well accessorized kitchen (dishwasher, furniture, oven, pots, fridge, coffee moka pot, toaster and kettle); two double rooms; bathroom with shower and WC and comfortable balconies. Each apartment disposes of these comforts:
SAT-TV, LCD-TV, WiFi-Internet, safe box. 

In addition, you will be able to find bath towels and beds linens.

In addition to the holiday apartments, the newly built lounge and the cosy farmhouse parlour are available to our guests all day. In the garage there are table tennis and table soccer as well as many entertainment possibilities for the children. There is also a bicycle stand and, in winter, a ski stand and ski boot dryer.

We also dispose of specific accessories for children (baby bed, elevated baby seat).

 
For precaution reasons, pets are only allowed after communication and authorization.
Smoking is not allowed inside the building.

We attach great importance to sustainability. We obtain our electricity exclusively from renewable energies and have also been operating a photovoltaic system on the stable roof since 2011. The house is heated with solar heating and log wood, which come from our farm. The House (Climate House B) is fully insulated and equipped with underfloor heating, which provides a pleasant warmth in the apartments. 

We also try to work sustainably in agriculture. We have completely changed the irrigation of the apple trees to drip irrigation in order to reduce water consumption and prevent erosion. As far as plant protection products are concerned, we refrain from all unnecessary spraying. Our cows live in a bright, spacious free stable to ensure a good quality of life for the animals. 

Due to all these measures, we were awarded the title of "sustainable enterprise in the Stilfserjoch National Park" in 2021.
